Discover the New Worldmapper
Worldmapper has a new website with many updated and new maps: Worldmapper.org.
Our archive currently encounters some technical problems. If you are searching for an old map and don't find it on our new website, please contact us.
We also need your support to keep Worldmapper up and running.

You may wish to view a labelled territory map or population map for comparison. The population map helps to understand why India and China, for example, are relatively large through much of the animation, and Australia relatively small.

If you cannot view the animation, you may need to update Flash Player.

Please feel free to download and use this animation. The Flash file is here. Our credit line is "© Copyright 2006 SASI Group (University of Sheffield) and Mark Newman (University of Michigan)."
