Most of the global production of garlic is harvested in China, followed by India, Bangladesh, Egypt and South Korea. Russia, Myanmar, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Spain complete the top 10. Overall cherries are planted in around 100 countries world wide. It is a popular component in Asian, European, North-African and Central and South American cuisine and also used as medicine.
