Strawberry fields forever!
The biggest producer of strawberries by far is China (more than 17 million tons), followed by Spain, Turkey, Morocco and Egypt. Brazil, Japan, USA, South Korea and Iran complete the top 10.
The main season for these fruits are the ‘northern’ winter months of December and January.
