In 2022 most of the birth by far were registered in India (23 Million), followed by China (10 million), Nigeria (8 million), Pakistan (6.4 million) and Indonesia (4.5). DR Congo, Ethiopia, USA, Bangladesh and Brazil complete the top 10.
India is also leading the list with infant deaths (607,000), followed by Nigeria (573,000), Pakistan (332,000), DR Congo (205,000) and Ethiopia (125,000).
