The most votes were cast by the United States, which had almost as many as the next three biggest voters combined; these were Japan, China and Germany. North America and Europe dominate the vote shares with the first African countries making it just in the Top 30: South Africa and Nigeria.

Data sources
This map uses data by IMF (last accessed April 2018). We aim to map as complete data as possible and therefore estimate data for missing values. In some cases, missing data for very small territories is not used in the cartogram and that area is therefore omitted in the map.
