Tertiary education is university education and post secondary vocational training. In absolute numbers India is leading the list, before China and Pakistan. The enrolment rate in India is 24 per cent, in China 39 and in Pakistan 10 per cent.
In 42 countries of the world less than 10 per cent are enrolled in tertiary education, in Malawi even less than 1 per cent.
