Education is education. We should learn everything and then choose which path to follow. Education is neither Eastern nor Western, it is human.
What is compulsory in some territories is a rarity in others. Worldwide approximately 535 million children aged 11 to 16 are enrolled in secondary education, around 73 per cent. In absolute numbers China, India and the Unite States are leading the list of countries, but the enrolment rate in India with 69 per cent is below the global average, whereas in China and the USA 94 and 98 per cent are in secondary education.
Other figures in are lower: 65% in South Asia and 43% in Sub-Saharan Africa. The lowest is 17% in the Central African Republic.
